Hypochlorous Acid

U.S. FDA announced Hypochlorous Acid is Indirect Additive used in Food Contact Substances (sterilizing ingredient). 
Hypochlorous Acid can be certified by U.S. FDA as a sterilant and high-level disinfectant with general claims for processing reusable medical and dental devices. Japan MOH announces Hypochlorous Acid as a food additive (Disinfecting Ingredient), while Taiwan Food and Drug Administration announced that it is the main disinfectant ingredient for cleaning food.
